Our story
A love of boats, local life, and shared moments.
Nantucket Tug Company was founded to bring friends and family together on the water, creating intimate, elevated harbor experiences. Matthew and Erika, former owners of ACK Picnics, revived the tradition of luxury harbor cruises with their flagship vessel, Chugalugatug, a lovingly restored 1980 Crosby River Tug. From its 900-mile journey from Indiana to Nantucket to meticulous care and modern upgrades, Chugalugatug embodies timeless craftsmanship, charm, and adventure.
